Requirements

You will need an FTP client for this process. You can use FileZilla or WinSCP for this.

Step 1: Setting up the upload.

You will need to create a personal user directory before submitting any entry to the archive. For anonymous uploads you can reach out to me.

To upload a release, the following FTP settings must be used:

• Protocol: FTP, with explicit TLS/SSL encryption methods
• Hostname:
• Port: 50000
• Username:
• Password:

Step 2: Preparing and uploading your release.

Submissions will require the following:

• In your user folder, A folder with the buildtag of your release in the format of:
• "MAJOR.MINOR.BUILDNUM.REV.build_lab.YYMMDD-hhmm"
• In said folder, a readme with:
  • The source and original filename as found for said release.
  • Your username.
  • The arch-flavor ReleaseType StageType (la-NG) mentioned for the file if the filename does not have it.
  • The upload date.
  • File hashes (i.e. SHA1 or SHA256)
  • Additonal documentation, if applicable
  • A template for the readme is provided here
• And the release files themselves.

Once your release is complete, drag and drop the folder into your upload folder using your client and wait for it to finish.
